As you may know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and many companies show their support by going “pink.” I am so honored to partner with Eggland’s Best this month to promote their efforts. I was first introduced to the company at BlogHer where I briefly met with a representative during my flurry through the Expo floor. I picked up a dozen of their eggs when I returned because I was impressed with what I had read about the company.
Eggland’s Best eggs are all-natural (free from hormones, steroids and antibiotics) and come from vegetarian-fed hens. The company offers cage-free, organic, white and brown eggs. What makes their eggs superior is the fact that they contain ten times more Vitamin E than ordinary eggs, 100 mg of Omega 3, 200 mcg of Lutein, 25% less Saturated Fat and less cholesterol than ordinary eggs (175 mg compared to the 215 mg in an ordinary egg). All that to say, Eggland’s Best eggs are better for you.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing more information with you about the company and their efforts. In support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, all varieties of Eggland’s Best eggs will display a running ribbon logo and a pink version of the EB stamp this fall. The company will also donate $50,000 to support Komen for the Cure, an organization who strives to save lives and end breast cancer.
Right now, you can receive two 50 cent coupons by “liking” Eggland’s Best on Facebook. For more information, just visit the site.
This post is sponsored by Eggland’s Best. I received monetary compensation for my participation, but my review and opinions are my own.
