Disney/Pixar Premieres Brave in Los Angeles and Disney Parks Opens Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park

Posted by Caryn Bailey 11 Comments

After jetting off to San Francisco to screen some footage from Disney/Pixar’s highly anticipated animated film Brave, I’ve been anxiously awaiting the day when I finally get to see the film in it’s entirety.  For the past month or so, I’ve been sharing exclusive interviews and information about the film, and over the weekend I’ll be heading to Los Angeles for a press day and  the  red carpet premiere at the Dolby Theater.  As part of our deep dive into the film, we’ll be meeting with Director Mark Andrews, Producer Katherine Sarafian, Kelly Macdonald who voices Merida, Kevin McKidd who voices Lord MacGruffin, Craig Ferguson who voices Lord Macintosh, and La Luna Director Enrico Casarosa.  This film will, for the first time in Pixar history, showcase a female lead and heroine, and I’m personally looking forward to the film’s powerful depiction of the mother-daughter relationship.

During my stay in LA, I’ll also get the inside scoop on some of the latest films set to be released by Disney and DreamWorks including Frankeneenie and People Like Us so if you have questions or information you’d like me to find out, just let me know in the comments section.

After our 2 night stay in LA, we’ll be heading down to my hometown (Orange County) for a first look at the soon-to-be opened Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park.  The park has undergone a number of innovative transformations and I can’t wait to be taken back to that period of time when Walt Disney was alive.

If you’d like to follow along we’ll be on Twitter: #BraveCarsLandEvent

No compensation was received for this post. I was invited to Los Angeles, courtesy of Disney and Pixar.
