Mattel’s Frozen Fashion Dolls Inspire Girls to Be Fearless *Giveaway*

Posted by Caryn Bailey 57 Comments

This giveaway is now closed. Thanks for stopping by. The winner is Kerry G. Congrats!

{As a Mattel Disney Insider, I receive products/information for review/giveaway.}

Over the weekend, I took my daughter shopping at the Disney Store so she could give me some guidance as to what she wants for Christmas (I was also on a quest to find those Crystal Exclusive Figures from Disney Infinity for my son).  Almost immediately, she headed over to the Frozen section where she spent most of her time browsing dresses, dolls, and “princess shoes.”  The film, which tells the story of sisters Anna and Elsa, was a hit with both of my kids, although each one resonated with the story and the characters in their own way.

Doll Play

Dolls and pretend play are my daughter’s favorite way to entertain herself so she was absolutely delighted when she received three of our favorite characters from the film.  Perfectly timed for the film’s winter release, Mattel introduced an assortment of Fashion Dolls inspired by Frozen.  The Disney Princess Frozen Fashion Dolls line includes Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff dressed in their royal fashions.

Imaginative Play

Once I gave my daughter these dolls to play with, she began recreating scenes from the film and “talking” to her dolls.  At 3, she’s still too young to fully grasp some of the concepts from the film, but she has enjoyed playing with Anna and Elsa’s hair, and dressing them for the “party” (as she likes to call it).

Disney’s Frozen is A Beautiful Portrayal of Sisterly Love and  depicts the great lengths these sisters go to support each other.  Anna inspires little girls to be fearless and optimistic while Elsa is a role model for girls to embrace their unique talents and abilities.  Long after the film ended, my daughter and I can still talk about those important themes and create our own Frozen adventures through imaginative play.

Frozen Fashion Dolls

Mattel’s Disney Princess “Frozen” Fashion Doll Assortment is available at retailers nationwide and the perfect Christmas gift for little girls.

Win It! One of you will win a Disney Princess “Frozen” Fashion Doll!  Simply complete the Rafflecopter form and leave me a comment with your favorite.  Comments will close on December 30th, 2013 at 11:59 PM PST.

    Well we haven’t seen it yet, but since my daughter’s name is Elsa and she’s convinced this movie is about her (she’s 3), I will have to go with Elsa. 😉
