Chuggington Introduces It’s First Elevated Train Set Giveaway

Despite my children’s diverse assortment of toys, they both always gravitate towards those that involve building and putting pieces together. Toys that allow for creativity and endless, open-ended play are always the ones that my children end up playing with weeks and months after the “newness” has worn off.

One of the main reasons we are having so much fun with Chuggington’s new Storm Maker playset is the fact that there are a variety of ways for my kids to build the set. My kids are long-time fans of the hit Disney Junior show and anytime we receive a toy, book, or DVD, they get very excited!

Up until of late, all of Chuggington’s train and track sets were only available on one level. In partnership with TOMY, they’ve just released a brand-new, elevated playset! Inspired by Wilson and the Wild Wind episode, Wilson’s Wild Ride Deluxe Action Playset features four spiraling levels of track, a spinning turn table that whips around 720 degrees, and authentic sounds of wind, rain, and thunder from the episode.

The set is designed for children ages 3 and up, but my daughter immediately began helping me put the set together, and she actually managed to stack a few pieces with my help. She has had the most fun watching Wilson zoom down the track and whip around on the spinning turn table.

Despite the fact that the set contains over 40 pieces, they’re not small and they’re easy to put together. The instructions are straight-forward and while I had to help my kids put it together the first time, my son caught on quickly and has been experimenting with the other layouts portrayed in the instruction sheet.

If you already have one of TOMY’s Chuggington sets, you’ll be happy to learn that Wilson’s Wild Ride Deluxe Action Playset is compatible with other die-cast sets and comes equipped with an adaptor! The set retails for $59.99 and is available at Target, Walmart, and Toys R Us.
