Family Night at Hometown Buffet and Free Christian Printables

Mid-way through the week, I’m already looking at my refrigerator with a blank stare, hoping to glean some inspiration. The “what am I making for dinner” question seems to coincide with my need to do a grocery run. Admittedly, most of our “eating out” occurs after hump day. My preference is to always strive to replicate the traditional family dinner at the table so I shy away from “drive-through” restaurants.

Hometown Buffet (and sister restaurants Old Country Buffet, Ryan’s, Hometown Buffet, Country Buffet and Furr’s Fresh Buffet) recently launched their weekday Family Nights in partnership with Tommy Nelson Publishing. The children’s division of Thomas Nelson publishes quality books and products that are consistent with their goal of providing teachings that inspire and encourage kids. Their Night Night series, by Amy Parker, is designed to help children peacefully transition to bedtime.

During this six-week fun of Family Nights, each participating location will host activities inspired by Parker’s Night Night Book Series.

July 27– Night Night, Farm
August 3–Night Night, Mommy
August 10– Night Night, World
August 17– Night Night, Train
August 24– Night Night, Daddy
August 31– Night Night, Pajamas

Family Night is held every Thursday from 5-8 p.m. In addition to the above activities, kids can also eat for just $1.99 with the purchase of a regular-priced adult or senior meal.
