Baby Skin Care Products I Heart! Runner Up

Posted by Caryn Bailey 2 Comments

I received a wide variety of skin care products for Josh. Most of the products on the market contain parabens, proplyene glycol, and other icky chemicals that we should not be putting on our bodies! On one of my weekly excursions to my favorite market, I came across Little Twig. I was drawn to their claim that their products are organic.

The Lavender, Chamomile, & Tea Tree Baby Wash is tearless and non-irritating. It is free of sulfates, DEA (diethanolamine), TEA (triethanolamine) or MEA (amonoethanolamine).
If you are interested in finding out why these and other chemicals should not be used on our skin please read this article. This wash is lightly scented and very mild. It’s perfect for Josh’s delicate skin and my only complaint is that it doesn’t foam up well.

The Lavender, Lemon, & Tea Tree Bodymilk has a light, clean scent and is not greasy or irritating. It is free of mineral oil.

The Diaper Cream is unscented and very mild. Josh hasn’t had a diaper rash since we switched to G diapers and chlorine free wipes so we haven’t actually tried this.

The Baby Powder is talc-free and unscented. I don’t use powder on Josh but this is a safe alternative if you like to use powder.

If you’re interested in finding more information about Little Twig products, visit their site.

Thanks so much for playing with us on Mamaspod. We choose our winner, Beth, but we loved having you stop in! I also love this post. We all seem to shrivel up in the Winter, you know? So I’ll have to bookmark this and come by before I go shopping. 🙂
