Announcing…A Review and a Giveaway!

Posted by Caryn Bailey 32 Comments

Spring is almost here!  I can’t wait for warmer weather, baby showers, weddings, birthday parties, and all the other events that arise with the change in seasons!  My little munchkin will be turning 1 in June and we’re already planning a rockin’ birthday party.

One of the first things that I notice when I’m invited to an event is the invitation.  One can distinguish a lot by the invitation.  For example, I know whether the event is formal or casual, large or small.  Invitations set the tone and mood of the event.  They either end up on the fridge or lost in a pile somewhere.
When Josh was born, I wanted to announce his arrival with flair and personality.  I wanted our friends and family to share in our joy.  I wanted to capture those first moments in a personal and unique way.  Unfortunately, when we looked at companies that offered photo announcement services, the prices were unreasonable or the quality was unacceptable.  Hubby ended up designing our little munchkin’s announcements and while I think he did a fab job, I wish I would have known about Announcements Galore.
Announcements Galore offers unique, high quality photo announcements for any occasion you can imagine.  These announcements will not only end up on your guest’s fridge, but in your scrapbook or memory album.  They offer a vast array of gorgeous themes for your special occasion.  This isn’t your cookie cutter photo announcement.  You pick the colors, fonts, etc. and the end product is a very personal custom designed piece of art…all at a very affordable price. What’s great about their product is that your announcement is an actual 4 x 6 photograph. They even include the envelopes.
I received this sample and LOVED it!  The print is high resolution, and the design is simple, elegant, and professional. All this for $1.09 each!  That is less than half of what most companies will charge.
Head on over to their site and take a look around!  Visit their FAQ page for details on ordering.  You can also contact them if you’d like a sample.
Get it Now!  If you simply must order your next invites or announcements ASAP, you may use the code $5DISCOUNT at checkout.
Win it!  Announcements Galore has graciously offered one of you a $20 gift certificate.  Head on over to their site and take a look around.  Leave me a comment indicating your favorite design and that special occasion you would like to design announcements for.  Comments that do not include this information will not be counted.  Comments are moderated.  If you don’t see your comment in a reasonable amount of time, send me an email.  1 comment per person, please.  Duplicates will be disqualified.  Bloggers and non-bloggers may enter.  If you would like to be entered twice, blog about the contest and email me your link OR email 3 of your friends telling them about the contest and cc me on the email.  One winner will be drawn on February 22, 2008 via random.org.  I will accept comments until February 21, 2008 at 10 pm PST.  I will be announcing the winner here on my blog and on Prizey.Fetch.  I dislike spam just as much as you do so I’m going to leave it up to you as to whether or not you want to disclose your email address.  Please note that the winner must respond within 48 hours of being announced or another winner will be drawn.

I like One is Fun for Jasper’s first birthday. I’d choose the Circles and Dots for Roo’s fourth birthday but it’s coming up too soon…

I like the Chocolate birth announcement for a boy, as I’ve been pricing announcement for our son who is arriving in March. These are much cheaper than some of the birth announcements I’ve seen, and really well designed. Thanks!

I like the Halloween Dots Cards for a fall card to send to family. That’d be a fun way to get a card out there during the fall season for those fun pictures at pumpkin patches.

    Thanks for the chance!

I love the design that you have featured and the Black and White Birth Announcement! But I think I’d have to pass along the gift certificate to my pregnant sister-in-law, unless, of course, I happen to get pregnant in the next month or two! 😉

    Hi Caryn!

I LOVE what you’ve done with your site! It’s gorgeous and this is such a great giveaway!

I’m torn between the First Communion one and the graduation one with the girl on the stairs. My youngest is getting her first communion in May and my oldest is graduating in June.

I think I’d go with the graduation one, though. That one is so gorgeous and I think I have just the right photo in mind for it.

Thanks for the giveaway and review!
