One of my favorite things about Spring is the sense of newness that comes along with it. The flowers and trees are blooming with life, the days are longer and brighter, and the weather is warm and aglow! Right before Spring Break, we headed to Knott’s Berry Farm to see what was blooming at the historic amusement park.
New this Spring is Knott’s Berry Bloom, an engaging, family-friendly event featuring brand new entertainment, interactive games, gourmet food and wine events, and more. There are a ton of activities for young and old, so here is a quick recap with our best tips!
For Little Kids
The Search for the Easter Beagle
This egg-citing scavenger hunt, designed for children ages 3-11, will have kids searching for the famous beagle throughout the park. Be sure to find all four “spots” and bring the completed card to Camp Snoopy for a fun surprise.
Tip: Start at the front of the park and work your way clockwise from Ghost Town through the Boardwalk to Camp Snoopy
Lucy’s Really Big Show
Sing and dance along with Lucy, Linus, Charlie Brown and JT in a brand new show at Camp Snoopy.
Tip: Be sure to arrive early for a seat, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays.
Peanut’s Party in the Park
Located at Charleston Circle, this new interactive show features your favorite Peanuts characters enjoying their favorite outdoor activities
Tip: Try to snag a seat in front of one of the stages for the best view
Boardwalk Games
Looking for a bit of downtime? Head over to the Boardwalk for some of your favorite games including dominoes, Connect Four, and Tic-Tac-Toe.
Tip: This area has several dining options so you might check out the games right after a meal.
For Big Kids
Towering Topiary Tasting Garden
Enjoy craft beers, wines from around the world, and farm-fresh food tastings while relaxing in the cool Wilderness Dance Hall. It should be noted that a selection of tastings is offered for a nominal fee.
Tips: Venture outside for a look at the sculpted greenery displays
If you have children with you, don’t let that deter you from participating in the tastings. Fresh lemonades and Knott’s Berry Farm’s famous Boysenberry Punch along with kid-friendly snacks are available.
Grande 3-D Art Show
If you’re passing between Fiesta Village and Calico Square, be sure to take a peek at the 3-D chalk art featuring beautiful spring scenery.
Tip: Bring a camera and snap a unique photo!
The entertainment does not stop after dark! Be sure to check out the Spring Fling Dance Party in Fiesta Village and Snoopy’s Spring Light Spectacular!
All of the activities and entertainment are included with park admission (excluding the Topiary Tasting Garden) and Knott’s Berry Farm will be open from 10 am to 10 pm during this Spring-themed event!
I created a Pinterest board from all of our photos if you’d like to see more of what’s happening this spring at the park.
