Can I just say AAHH?!?! So it’s been 5 weeks since I received the all clear from my doc to start my weigh down routine and I am seeing very little in the form of measurable results. I’ve cut my caloric intake and have begun some light exercise and while I’m fitting into my pre-preggie clothes better, I STILL have at least a 3 month belly! I’m doing sit-ups like crazy but I have diastasis recti (wikipedia it!) so every time I do a sit-up it looks like a tent or a mountain on my stomach! I’v been told that once this happens, it is nearly impossible to have a washboard stomach (hmmm, did I EVER have a washboard stomach?). Pregnancy wreaks havoc on our bodies! I really want to check out Stroller Strides since I’ve heard great things about it and I can bring my baby! I’ve also been told that Weight Watchers has a program for nursing mothers with an increased number of points. I successfully lost over 15 pounds on Weight Watchers before I met Jason but it was so difficult. I am always so hungry with my little munchkin STILL eating every 2 hours during the day that I don’t think I can cut my caloric intake that much. I already feel so worn out during the day as it is.
I was reading an interesting article on a parenting website discussing how celebrities lose their baby weight. While some use diet supplements, starve themselves, or get tummy tucks, I found it interesting to note that their gourmet chefs are a key ingredient (pardon my pun) in the journey back to size 2. Check out this article on Parents.com.

I really like Parents.com because it has a wealth of parenting information and many of the articles are written and/or reviewed by experts so the information is credible. Here is one more article I really like on how to lost the baby weight. Now, if only I could find the time and a babysitter…

It’s SO hard to lose that baby weight! My youngest is 7 and I still have mine, lol.
