Dropps Review & Giveaway Published on Thursday, December 18, 2008 by

*This giveaway is now closed!  Thanks for stopping by.  The winner is Jennem.  Congratulations!*

Eight months ago I received a sample of dropps laundry detergent in the mail.  I liked it so much that I never went back to conventional detergent. dropps is a biodegradable, phosphate-free, chlorine-free and NPE-free laundry detergent.  I love the fact that they’re so easy to use and create zero mess and zero waste! The laundry detergent is encapsulated in a little pac that dissolves in water.  You can use them on all colors and fabrics, with any washer, in any temperature.  Each little pac is pre-measured with just the right amount of 6x concentrated detergent.  It’s honestly the most convenient (and environmentally-friendly) detergent on the market.  I’ve tried all of the scents available and find them to be mild and non-irritating. My son has very sensitive skin and has had allergic reactions to even the most baby-friendly detergents. Since we’ve been using dropps, we’ve had no problems with skin irritation or rashes.

Win It!  I know you’re anxious to try dropps!  I promise you’re going to love them!  I’ve got two 2-packs in Fresh Scent to give away to one reader, courtesy of Mom Generations.  Head on over to the site and take a look around.  Come back here and leave me a comment indicating one thing you like about dropps that is different than the detergent you are using at present.   Comments will close on December 26, 2008 at 10 pm PST.  One comment per person, please. US residents only. Duplicates and comments not including the above information will be disqualified. Comments are moderated. If you don’t see your comment in a reasonable amount of time, send me an email. Bloggers and non-bloggers may enter. I like the fact that there’s no measuring, no mess, no waste like liquid laundry soaps where there’s always some left in the bottle and it’s safe for HE washing machines.

  • by Pamela C. December 19, 2008 at 5:18 am

I like that there is no mess. I hate it when there is a “gooey” mess around the cap. I also have arthritis in my hands. No heavy bottles or caps to mess with.

Thanks for a chance to give them a try.

I like the premeasured and that is disolves- would love to try it on my washing machine- we have hard water and lately the dry is not disolving at all – this seems so easy the teens and hubs might learn to toss it in and wash a load- oh heck I am dreaming now aren’t I?

  • by Becca December 20, 2008 at 6:49 pm

The thing I like most that is different from my current detergent is NO MEASURING – yay!! I am always skeptical that the companies are just getting you to use more by putting the measuring line higher than it needs to be!

  • by Phoebe Kelley December 20, 2008 at 6:56 pm

I would really like to try this as I now use tablets for my dish washing and so naturally I’d like to try this. Thanks for offering.

  • by Jill W December 20, 2008 at 11:00 pm

  • by Cori Westphal December 21, 2008 at 12:13 am

I like that it’s phosphate free. We have a shared septic system and everyone is supposed to use phosphate free products. This would be great. Also, it goes without saying, how easy they are! Just drop it in. No pouring (spilling).

  • by Rachel Newman December 22, 2008 at 1:45 pm

I like that it is phosphate and chlorine free. I’ve been using something similar, All Allergen free, but it would be nice to use Dropps, since it’s premeasured and not messy.
