I am so excited to announce that on January 6, 2009, Genius Products and Sesame Workshop will release a new DVD entitled Elmo Loves You. My son is soooo going to love this! Here is a little more about the upcoming release:
Join Elmo (who is making a surprise card for someone special), Rosita, and Grover on an important quest to save the day and make someone feel loved. This joyful adventure imparts valuable life lessons about love, emotion and friendship in a memorable way that resonates with preschoolers and young children. Elmo Loves You features the musical talents of Trisha Yearwood, John Legend, and R.E.M. Children will learn how to sign “I Love You” through the new toddler music video entitled “Elmo Loves You.”

Seeing an opportunity to maximize children’s potential in this area, Sesame Workshop partnered with the University of North Carolina’s Center for International Understanding in 2007 to develop Around the World With Grover: Tools for Exploration.
I found this interesting since I am from NC.

I really love the fostering respect and understanding amongst the world’s children! What a neat program! Too bad we didn’t have something like that for adults!
