How are you cooling off this summer? We love spending time at our community pool, running through the sprinklers in our backyard, and eating frozen treats! While we often use our home ice cream maker to create sorbets and frozen desserts, sometimes when we’re out and about, we’ll stop at our local Frozen Yogurt shop for a cool, refreshing treat. While I could simply eat a fresh strawberry frozen yogurt and be content, my kids are all about flavor mix-ups and topping concoctions, which is why Yogurtland is a favorite of ours. My children have been known to mix 5 or even 6 flavors together in one bowl!
This summer, Yogurtland has teamed up with Looney Tunes to launch six character-inspired flavors. And to top it off (literally), families can complete their flavor creations with shredded carrots, pineapple, lime, banana, and spinach. Beginning July 8th, Yogurtland will offer the following looney, zany flavors:
Carrot Cake: This frozen yogurt includes real carrots, hand-selected spices, and cream cheese frosting. Top it just like Bugs Bunny would…with shredded carrots!
Kosmic Fruit Kaboom Sorbet: Blending pineapple, lime, banana, and spinach, this frozen treat is “out-of-this-world”! Top it with Pop Rocks for the explosive flavor Marvin the Martian intended!
Lemon Cream Cookie: This tasty “tweat” features real cookies and lemon and was inspired by Tweety Bird!
Decadent Dark Chocolate Orange: This frozen yogurt blends premium cocoa with a light natural orange finish. Top it like Daffy Duck would with dark chocolate, orange-covered cranberries.
Cactus Berry Tart: Featuring real cactus pear, Northwest Marion blackberries, blueberries, and red raspberries, this frozen treat offers a light, tart taste. Inspired by the Road Runner.
Devil’s Food Cake: Inspired by Taz, this frozen yogurt is pure chocolate goodness. Top it with shaved curs of dark chocolate!
I personally love the new flavors because they feature characters children know and love while inspiring children to eat more fruits and veggies. Each of the characters will have their own collectible spoon and cup and Yogurtland will offers a new line of inspired merchandise including notepads, pencils, key chains, and melamine bowls.
The summer promotion begins tomorrow, July 8th at your local Yogurtland with free yogurt, prizes, and visits by the Looney Tune characters (in select Orange County locations). If you download their mobile app, you can earn free yogurt. Scan the flavor cards in-stores to earn 4 or 6 ounces of free yogurt (depending on the number of character codes scanned).
