Earlier this week, I told you all about our adventures and animal encounters at our local zoo. Our children have a passion for animals and have spent many an afternoon in awe of the lions and tigers and bears (to name a few!). Here in Orange County, the Discovery Science Center is offering a unique way for children to learn about and interact with a variety of wildlife. Through September 7th, “Orange County’s leading destination for hands-on science fun” is taking kids on a Wild Summer adventure, complete with wildlife-themed learning stations, presentations, stage shows, and activities.
Through the Discovery Science Center’s partnership with the OC and Santa Ana zoos, families can experience compelling animal rescue stories from around the world at the Wildlife Rescue exhibit.
The exhibit, which remains open through September 3rd inspires compassion and excitement around rescuing and returning endangered species of animals to the wild.
Here is a list of the upcoming wildlife days:
June 16-17: The Great Outdoors Weekend
June 23-24: Lizards, Toads, and Snakes, Oh My!
