Walmart’s Commitment To Everyday Low Prices

Posted by Caryn Bailey Leave a Comment

Rising gas prices…cutbacks to school funding…job uncertainty…  With the economy still struggling, I know that I am being vigilant about where we spend our money.  Since I do a majority of our family’s grocery shopping, I am the one who researches purchases, scrutinizes ads, and cuts coupons to save as much as I can.  My husband often jokes that I spend way too much time prepping to shop.

If you’re bogged down with the amount of work it takes to ensure you’re not paying more than you should,  you will be happy to learn about Walmart’s commitment to providing you and I with the lowest prices…everyday…on everything.  Walmart’s philosophy is simple…Save Money. Live Better.

Last week, Walmart announced that it would be doing more to ensure that customers are getting the lowest prices on everything, all the time.  This means that you don’t necessarily have to use coupons to find the lowest price, which is great news for people like myself who are casual but frequent coupon users.  So how are they going to do this?

Walmart is committed to ensuring that store managers and buyers are checking the competition to ensure that their prices truly are the lowest. Walmart is also partnering with suppliers to lower the cost of items and pass savings on to customers.

Additionally, Walmart is committed to matching competitor’s ads and you don’t have to bring the ad in to obtain the same pricing.  If you find a lower price at another retailer, Walmart will match that price right at the register (product must be identical)! To ensure employees understand the policy, Walmart has provided associates with extensive training.

Throughout the store, you’ll see Rollback signs, Everyday Low Price signs, and signs detailing their ad match policy.  If you ever have a question, you can always ask to speak with your store’s manager.

Walmart is committed to helping you save money to live better.  If you could save money on the products you purchase, how would that help you live better?

Disclosure: I participate in the Walmart Moms program and am compensated for my time and honest opinions.
