Last year, we took our little boy to the circus for the first time and he really enjoyed it. He is fascinated by animals, particularly the rare and exotic type. This year marks the 200th anniversary of “the greatest show on earth,” which returns to Southern California on July 14th.
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey presents Barnum’s FUNundrum! which features 130 performers from six continents around the world. So what do you see in a modern day circus show? Trapeze artists, contortionists, the strongest man in the world, and of course, exotic animals.
Nominations are currently being accepted for “The Barnum Award” which will honor 3 kids (between the ages of 8 and 14) who make a difference in our community. First, second and third place winners will receive cash prizes to continue their service and will be honored in an award ceremony on opening night (July 28th) at the Honda Center.
