Up until just a couple of months ago, my husband had a travel-intensive job, one of the many reasons we decided that I needed to be home with our kids. While it was nearly impossible for us to travel with him out of state, we frequently made the short trip to San Diego for staycations during his time working.
Despite the fact that traveling with a small child (and subsequently two) seemed daunting, I eventually figured out how to get us to and from quite seamlessly. Along with the clothing and toiletry essentials, I’d pack a travel crib with some blankets and toys because I was never certain about the sleeping arrangements in the hotels we stayed at. Baby gear, such as a travel crib, can be quite bulky and heavy. How I wish I had something as lightweight and portable as this journeyBee Portable Crib from ParentLab. Wow! This thing would be awesome for my best friend! They travel all the time… Great for us to have when we go outdoors as well.
