Pixar Pier opens at Disney California Adventure Park this Saturday, and the newly re-imagined land brings your favorite Pixar stories and characters to life in a way that is both fresh and nostalgic. Every detail pays homage to Pixar’s iconic films and shorts. Stroll through the neighborhoods of Pixar Pier and you may happen upon Frozone, Edna Mode, or Russel and Dug. Cool off with a Pixar Pier Frozen Parfait while listening to TripleDent Gum presents The Pixarmonic Orchestra play their own rendition of Pixar’s iconic songs. Whether you are looking to get your Lobster Nachos fix at Lamplight Lounge or get thrill on as you chase baby Jack-Jack on the Incredicoaster, here are 10 Things to Do at Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Park.

Lamplight Lounge Cocktails

  • Dine Seaside, at Lamplight Lounge: Drawing inspiration from Pixar’s “lamp,” the new restaurants offers a luxury dining experience with a view. Unique signature cocktails, film-inspired décor, and playfully presented food bring your favorite Pixar films to life. New menu items to try include the Carne Asada Roll with Roasted Fresno Chili Salsa, Potato Skins with Brown Butter-Caper Yogurt, and a PB&J roll served with a flowerpot full of vegetables, hummus, and fresh fruit.

Incredicoaster

  • Race with the Parr family on Incredicoaster:  Baby Jack-Jack is on the move, and your mission is to chase after him alongside the Incredibles. The re-imagined coaster features Elastigirl stretching herself 53 feet in an attempt to grab baby Jack-Jack, mid-century modern style, and music by award-winning composer Michael Giacchino (who scored the music for The Incredibles and Incredibles 2).
  • Get Your Game On at Pixar Pier: Four whimsical pay-per-play game booths offers guests an opportunity to win Pixar prizes. Three new games include La Luna Star Catcher (inspired by the Pixar short), WALL•E Space Race, and Heimlich’s Candy Corn Toss. Bullseye Stallion Stampeded returns to the midway area.

Jesse Toy Story

  • Stroll through the whimsical neighborhoods of Pixar Pier: Four of Pixar’s well-loved stories are depicted through themed neighborhoods along the boardwalk of Pixar Pier including Incredibles Park, Toy Story Boardwalk, Pixar Promenade, and Inside Out Headquarters, which will open in 2019. Don’t forget to grab a selfie with your favorite Pixar pals including Edna Mode, Frozone, Russell and Dug and more!
  •  Take in the Sights of Pixar Pier From Pixar Pal-A-Round: The newly imagined ferris wheel celebrates the stories and friendships from iconic Pixar films. Each of the 24 gondolas on the ferris wheel features a different Pixar pal and breathtaking views of Pixar Pier.
  • Taste All of the New Pixar-Inspired Food: Five new film-inspired eateries will serve up dishes inspired by Pixar films and shorts.
    • Poultry Palace – tasty chicken drumsticks and turkey legs
    • Señor Buzz Churros –  “caliente” and regular churros
    • Angry Dogs – spicy and not-so-spicy hot dogs
    • Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums – freshly-baked cookies
    • Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats – lemon, chocolate, and vanilla soft serve treats as well as the Pixar Pier Frozen Parfait
  • Sing and Dance to the Beat of TripleDent Gum presents The Pixarmonic Orchestra: The new seven-piece band performs their own renditions of Pixar tunes. Their upbeat style features both traditional and unconventional instruments including cowbells, kazoos, duck calls, sirens and slide whistles.
  • Rediscover the Toy Story Midway Mania!: Potato Head welcomes guests to become honorary toys and compete in target-themed games hosted by friends from the Toy Story franchise. As you ride, try to hit secret targets to unleash “Easter eggs” worth even more points.

Pixar Pier Boardwalk

  • Strike a pose: Can we talk about all of the Instagram-worthy photo opps at Pixar Pier? Start at the Pixar Pier marquee (don’t forget that iconic nighttime shot), then stroll along the pier for billboards from your favorite films, a kugel fountain inspired by the Pixar Ball, and more.
  • Commemorate Your Visit at Knick’s Knacks: The new destination for Pixar artistry, trinkets, and knick knacks offers new and limited-edition Pixar merchandise. You can also purchase special Pixar art or take home a character sketch created by an artist on-site.
