Twitter Chat: Celebrate The Smurfs 2 DVD and Blu-ray Release (You Just Might Win a DASH Car!)

Earlier this summer, the much anticipated sequel to Sony’s live-action/animation hybrid film The Smurfs delighted audiences in an action-filled, comedic story that refined and broadened our definition of family. The Smurfs 2, which will be released on DVD and Blu-ray this coming Tuesday, reunites our favorite mushroom-dwelling creatures with Patrick and Grace Winslow in the city of lights…Paris!  Along with the return of the original cast, Gargamel creates two new Smurf-like creatures in hopes of harnessing their magical Smurf essence.  When the evil wizard learns that the “naughties” cannot give him the essence, he has Smurfette kidnapped in order to obtain the secret formula.

Just in the time for the holidays, families can bring home The Smurfs 2 on DVD or in the 3D or Blu-ray combo packs.  The Blu-ray combo packs feature the mini-movie The Legend of Smurfy Hollow, 5 kid-approved featurettes (3 of which are exclusive to Blu-ray combo packs), and deleted scenes.

To celebrate the release of The Smurfs 2, I’ve partnered with Sony for a festive holiday Twitter Chat.  Not only will Sony be giving away FIVE Smurftastic prize packs, one very luck grand prize winner will receive a Smurfs Dash Car filled with gifts!  Here are the details for next Tuesday’s chat (be sure to read through them since you don’t want to miss out on this incredible opportunity to win a Dash Car!).
