The Smarter Diaper Bag

Posted by Caryn Bailey 1 Comment

In my three + years of being a mom, I’ve owned at least 5 diaper bags. Some have been used until they’ve fallen apart (literally).  Others are gathering dust in my closet because they were not practical or functional for toting around everything necessary for a baby and a toddler.

Clic-It is a diaper bag system that makes it easy to organize the things you need for your baby or toddler. You start with a bag, which features a Quick Release Clip System and add the accessories that fit your lifestyle.  Instead of tossing everything into the dark hole that is my diaper bag, each accessory clips to the bag for quick and easy access.  And with one hand (which is all I really have available these days) I can detach the accessories I need.

I brought the bag with me on our most recent trip and found the clip system to be really handy.  It’s nice to have everything readily accessible because it saves time and frustration.  It’s definitely a bag that grows with a family since babies and toddler need very different things.  With a multitude of pockets and the versatility to wear it as a messenger or belt bag, Clic-It provides a smarter way to travel with babies and tots.

The Clic-It Diaper Bag retails for $49.99 and includes a removable changing pad, zip-off messenger flap, and a 2-in-1 Adjustable shoulder strap & belt.  Additional accessories (Bottle Holder, Insulated Tote, Pacifier Case, Dipers & Wipes Case, Organizer Pouch, Gadget Case, Clic-It Key Ring) are $4.99-$14.99.  While I do think the base price of the diaper bag is reasonable, I would caution that purchasing additional accessories could raise the cost of the diaper bag to over $100.  I would love to see the company offer an inclusive price with the option to choose a set number of accessories.

At present, the diaper bag comes in two flap covers (green and black) which is both gender neutral and father friendly.  It has a modern, trendy look without that traditional diaper bag appearance.  I’m hoping they’ll introduce more gender-specific colors like blue, gray, purple, and pink.

Through December 24th, you can enter Clic-It’s Gearing Up for Baby contest for a chance to win a prize pack including a diaper bag and accessory attachment. For more information, just visit them on Facebook.
