Girl Empowerment, Powerpuff Day and Where to Watch The Powerpuff Girls

Thank you Hulu for inviting our girls to be “Real Life Powerpuff Girls for a day” and talk about girl empowerment. All opinions are my own.

Do your kids love The Powerpuff Girls?

Well now they can stream it anytime on HULU!

Hulu and The Powerpuff Girls Focus on Girl Empowerment

Hulu and Creators of Media hosted a fun filled afternoon in Santa Monica, California. The celebration included interactive workshops, inspiring talks, and awesome activities all centered around the celebration of girl empowerment.

The girls were ecstatic because they got to be “Real Life Powerpuff Girls” for a day! The workshops included a Mad Science Station, Dance Instruction, and Art Class.

The Powerpuff Girls – The Definition of Girl Empowerment

The Powerpuff Girls centers on three sugar-coated superheroes, whose missions in life alternate between going to school, fighting crime, winning at hopscotch and saving the world before bedtime. The girls are frequently called upon by the town’s childlike and naive mayor to help fight nearby criminals using their powers.

This cartoon has a great message for children. It teaches them to be kind, to feel empowered, and to be leaders in their communities.

In the Science workshop, the girls learned how rockets go into space. They also made mini cardboard rockets of their very own!

These super girls were fully engaged…. I spy with my little eyes some future scientists!

In the animation and art workshop, the girls learned how to draw Bubbles. They also learned how to make her fly in a flip book.

Their creative juices were flowing and they felt free to express themselves artistically…

The girls got their dance moves on in the Dance Class, and even performed a flash mob for the parents! They sang together, laughed, and made friends. It was very sweet.

The afternoon ended with these special young panelists. The girl’s were truly inspired after hearing from a vegan animal rights activist, Jiu Jitsu Master, and a twelve year old CEO entrepreneur. These amazing girls talked about how they achieved their goals, and how these super girls can make their dreams reality too!

Powerpuff Girls allows young girls to envision what they could do in the world, and as a parent, I love that…. It was a magical day for these young ladies and I’m so happy they got to be part of it.
