The Disney Store’s Magical Costume Collection!

Posted by Caryn Bailey 2 Comments

Without even asking, I knew what each of my children wanted to be for Halloween this year. My son has become captivated by all of the superheroes that have made their comeback this year including Captain America, and my daughter is enchanted by Disney’s princesses. Both of them love to dress up, apart from Halloween, which means we have a handful of costumes they can wear for birthday parties, special events, and trips to Disneyland.

Sibling Costumes

Last year, both of my children wore costumes from the Disney Store throughout the entire season. We tend to do a lot during this time of year and despite the trips to Disneyland and our local pumpkin patch, they managed to hold up! Once again, my children are sporting beautiful, quality-made costumes from the Disney Store.

One of the things I love about their selection is the fact that they offer costumes featuring classic Disney characters like Cinderella and Woody from Toy Store, and more modern characters like Merida from Brave and The Hulk from the Avengers. This year’s 2012 costume collection was inspired by popular 2012 film releases such as Cinderella, Marvel’s The Avengers, Disney/Pixar’s Brave, and Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings.

Additionally, the Disney Store offers a selection of gorgeous Limited Edition costumes like this Cinderella costume for girls.

The costumes you’ll find are made for and sold exclusively at the Disney Store and there is a quality that is unmatched at other retailers.

Here are a few of my favorite costume picks from the Disney Store:

My son’s favorite superhero is Captain America, and this costume he is sporting features a muscled bodysuit, gloves, shoe covers, and a mask. It’s authentic, detailed and well-made. And most importantly, it’s comfortable.

We are very excited about Disney’s latest DVD release, Secret of the Wings. My daughter adores Tinker Bell and did not want to take this costume off once we dressed her up. We love the sparkly petal skirt featuring Pixie Hollow detailing and a tulle and satin underskirt which gives the costume fullness and body. And, the detail on the costume glows in the dark!  Additionally, the Disney Store offers coordinating accessories including the following: Light-Up Tinker Bell Shoes, Light-Up Tinker Bell Wings, Floral Tinker Bell Tiara and Light-Up Tinker Bell Wand.
