It’s been a busy few weeks. Between my 2 year old, my household, my husband, my gift guide, my upcoming baby shower, and all of the media events…it’s been an exciting whirlwind. And oh…I’m about to have a baby! This week I’ve decided to take a break. This week is a time of reflection…a time to focus on my husband and son who are home with me the entire week. We’re going to take naps together and watch movies and play outside. We won’t be going to the mall or to any holiday parties. Black Friday will come and go and we won’t be a part of it (for the very first time!). And I’m totally ok with it. In fact, I’m looking forward to being lazy in my pajamas until noon, eating breakfast in bed, and sleeping in until our little alarm clock wakes us up!
Even when I wasn’t blogging (or pregnant), I always found this time to be hectic and somewhat chaotic. The shoppping…the cooking…the entertaining…the get togethers with family and friends… I like to be busy. I like to take my son to different events…to experience new sights and sounds. But this week…we’re just going to take it easy.

It’s nice that you are going to take a break, we all need these sometimes, and especially you and the little life you are carrying. Enjoy your family, the movies with them and some nap time. You deserve it.
Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Break Time too. God Bless.

It sounds utterly delightful, and it will probably mean more to you than any shopping or entertaining could. Kudos.

Well, it is about time! You certainly deserve it… you have been working WAY too much, and I have been worried about you. You are going to have SO much fun with your hubby and son. Cherish this time together before you have your little one that will be demanding LOTS of your attention.
I am SO happy for you taking time for yourself, rest and relax and ENJOY!!

Hope you had a happy, healthy and WONDERFUL Thanksgiving… 🙂
