Take Me Out to the Ball Game With Frontier SoCal

By the time my son was 5, he had already attended his first Angels game and played an entire season of softball. Baseball is still ranked #2 among America’s favorite sports and our latest venture out to LoanMart Field to watch the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes take on the Visalia Rawhide reminded us why we love the sport so much.

The Quakes are a minor league baseball team based out of Rancho Cucamonga. What’s unique about the team is their affiliation with the Los Angeles Dodgers. On Sunday, the Quakes played an exciting game against the Visalia Rawhide and won 17-8 in their second straight win.

The game felt very much like a major league baseball game. My kids enjoyed hot dogs (on Sunday’s kids get a free meal at LoanMart Field) and Dippin’ Dots and we had a chance to meet the teams mascots…Aftershock and Tremor who also provided some relief from the August heat. Throughout the game, audiences are kept engaged through team spirit activities and the chance to win prizes. We even sang Take Me Out to the Ball Game during the 7th inning stretch!
