Summer is sleeping in until sunrise, swimming under the night sky and eating dessert before dinner. Last Friday, I attended the VIP launch party at Nekter’s headquarters and I can tell you that Skoop is absolutely delicious. Smooth and creamy like ice cream, it pairs really well with fresh fruit, nuts, shaved coconut and chocolate sauce. At present, there are two flavors that have soft launched at select Nekter stores. Chocolate Bliss is a decadent blend of pure cocoa, cashew milk, honey, coconut palm sugar, and agave nectar with a pinch of sea salt (179 calories). Viva Vanilla is a tantalizing mix of Tahitian vanilla, cashew milk, honey, coconut palm sugar, and agave nectar with a pinch of sea salt (187 calories). Additionally, Nekter will launch Activated Coconut Charcoal and Blue-Green Algae ice cream.
