Reliving Disney Magic In 3D

Posted by Caryn Bailey 5 Comments

As someone who is passionate about film, I’m looking forward to reliving some of my favorite Disney movies through 3D.  Disney recently re-released it’s second classic film in 3D, Beauty and the Beast, and over the coming year, they’ll do the same for Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc., and The Little Mermaid. As one of my favorite films of all time, I never imagined it could get better. But to experience the beauty and depth in scenes like the one that takes place in the ballroom is nothing short of breathtaking.

3D technology allows for a richer, immersive film experience, and many of Disney’s animated films almost seem like they were made to one day be viewed in 3D. The beloved film about an overprotective clownfish searching for his son, who was captured and taken to Sydney, will return to theaters this Fall. While Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite animated films of all time, Finding Nemo is a favorite among my children and ranks right up there with Cars and Toy Story.

Finding Nemo will have a limited theater run in 3D beginning September 14th. Want a sneak peek?

This is the one I’m waiting for in 3D – My daughter and her friend went to see Beauty and the Beast, but I think Nemo will be the piece de resistance…

I can’t do 3D movies, they make me sick/dizzy. 🙁 But I bet this would be one my kids would like in 3D.
