Power Your Child’s Creativity With Crayola & Energizer

Posted by Caryn Bailey Leave a Comment

As we approach the holiday season, finding that perfect gift, particularly for kids, is at the forefront of many parents’ minds.  While my goal is always to strive to buy toys and gifts that inspire creativity, very often my kids’ wish lists include items they see advertised on television, seen in stores, or heard from friends.

Even as a child, I remember coloring with Crayola crayons and markers, and through the years, my children have always enjoyed their creative products that inspire imagination.  Some of their latest products merge technology and innovation with creativity for a unique play experience.

Power the CreativityThis holiday season, Energizer has partnered with Crayola to help families save on the toys and products they enjoy. When you purchase specially marked packages of Energizer MAX AA-16 and AAA-16 batteries, you’ll save up to $20 on the following Crayola products:

  • Crayola® Digital Light Designer™
  • Crayola® Sketcher Projector™
  • Crayola® Light-Up Tracing Pad
  • Crayola® Glow Book or Glow Dome
  • Any Crayola® Color Wonder® Product

Recently, we had an opportunity to check out new products from Crayola and Energizer. The brand known for it’s iconic Crayons has greatly expanded their line of products to include everything from story-based products featuring your child’s favorite characters to those that glow in the dark.

Digital Light Designer

My son’s favorite new Crayola product is the Sketcher Projector which allows children the opportunity to draw or trace on reusable plastic sheets with special markers and then project those creations on the wall or ceiling.

Light Up Paint Palette

My daughter spent the entire evening painting with the Color Wonder Light-Up Paint Palette which surprised me because we actually have that toy at home and while she has enjoyed it in the past, she has never spent that much time with it. When we arrived home, she picked it up and started painting with it again and my thought is that when I initially introduced it to her, she wasn’t quite ready developmentally for it. This mess-free alternative to painting includes a palette that lights up to match the color of the paint being used.

Many of the products we tested out require batteries, which is the connection to Energizer. But these batteries we were using are no ordinary batteries. Energizer’s new MAX with Power Seal Technology holds power for up to 10 years while in storage, providing an incredibly long life for all kinds of devices.

Power the Creativity

Also new from Energizer is their Flameless Wax Candles, perfect for families like ours with small children. These candles have a natural flicker pattern with a realistic glow minus the flame (and thus the fire/injury risk). Some of the candles are scented and are available in a variety of colors and sizes. Be sure to check out their holiday selection!

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Energizer. I attended an event and received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
