Personalized Gift Ideas For Kids From Snapfish

Posted by Caryn Bailey 1 Comment

For as long as I’ve been working with Snapfish, I’ve completely overlooked all the products they offer for children.  Some of their latest offerings include personalized puzzles and school notebooks by Frecklebox, growth charts and posters from Paper Coterie, Picture Me Books, and Flattenme Posters.

I am enjoying HP and Snapfish’s partnership with companies like Veggie Tales and Nickelodeon to offer personalized gifts for children.   My son and I recently designed a Veggie Tales-themed Kidlandia poster which lets children create a kingdom of their own with their favorite people, places, and characters.  Whenever we take our little boy out to a museum or a theme park, he insists on getting a map for himself.  Now he has a map named after him with landmarks named after his friends and family.

Snapfish’s new Publisher application makes it easy to create your child’s very own Kidlandia poster.  After selecting the size and theme of your poster (Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob, Veggie Tales, etc.), you and your child can start inputting names to personalize the poster.  The application allows you to input or rearrange text, animals, buildings, and more so that your child’s poster is uniquely his/hers.  Here is the Veggie Tales-themed poster we designed:

We could have spent a very long time personalizing the map. Fortunately, the application gives you a ton of suggestions at the beginning so that at the end you can just add or take away objects and landmarks.  The character-inspired maps are adorable and fun for preschoolers. I can see an older child using one of their US or World Maps to learn geography.  The entire process is highly personalized and my son and I enjoyed talking about his friends, the foods he likes to eat and the places he would like to visit (since we just came back from Hershey, PA, he had to have Hershey on his map).

Hurry! Through December 22, you can save 35% off Kidlandia posters with the code MERRY1218.  Posters start at just $9.99 making them a fun, affordable gift idea.

No compensation was received for this post.  As a Snapfish Select I receive information and products from the company to share at my discretion.
