Paraguayan Eco-Lux Soaps by Wembé

Posted by Caryn Bailey Leave a Comment

As a green mom, I’m always excited to learn about new companies who are striving to ensure their products are safe, natural, and eco-friendly. Because what I put on my skin is as important as what I put in my body, I strive to use natural body products when I can.

Wembé, a company that makes organic soaps from Paraguay, recently launched their line of eco-lux brand soaps made with natural exotic ingredients from the Amazon rainforest.  The soaps are organic and free from parabens and artificial coloring.  Ingredients include essential vegetable oils and moisturizing butters.

One of the first things I noticed about the soaps was their smell.  The soaps smell very natural…they don’t have that artificial smell you find with conventional store-bought soaps.  I also find their shape to be rather interesting.  They’re square and rather large which means mine has lasted longer than I expected it to.  According to the company, the square shape allows for more layers of whole plants and herbs to be packed into it.

Many of the soaps do more than just clean.  I received the Mango Cleansing Blend and the Coconut Exfoliating Blend to try out.  I like the smell and feel of my skin a bit better after using the Coconut version.  Plus I like the added benefit of a mini-exfoliation.  The soaps are gentle enough to be used by men, women, and children with a variety of skin types.

Wembé products include a blend of tropical ingredients derived from Paraguay’s natural plants and herbs and only found in the Amazon rainforest.  Varieties include avocado, seaweed, black clay, mint, snow, and chocolate (yum!).

Soaps retail for $7-$11.  For more information, just visit their site.
