Outback Steakhouse recently launched a new app that gives you the ability to join the waiting list at their local restaurant, check in when they have arrived, view the menu, receive exclusive offers to save money while dining and pay the bill, all from a smartphone. Here is a brief overview of the new app and it’s smart, time-saving features:
Plan Your Visit. Kids too hungry to wait 30 minutes? Have limited time to dine? Use the Outback Steakhouse App to plan your visit. Simply enable location services, then get on the wait list. You’ll be notified when your table is ready so you won’t have to wait when you arrive at your local restaurant, even if there is a waiting list in place.
Plan Your Meal. We are very familiar with the Outback Steakhouse menu, however, some aspects of the menu change and I like the option of viewing seasonal specials and having a general idea of what I want to eat. This helps to save time when we’re all hungry!
Pay On Your Terms. Kids getting tired? With the Outback Steakhouse App, you can pay right from your phone without having to wait for your server to bring the bill. Additional functionality includes the option of splitting the check, adding a tip and storing payment information for future visits.
Save Money. Who doesn’t want to save money on their dine-out experience? In the Offer Pouch, you can receive exclusive coupons and offers and apply them directly to your bill, eliminating the need to print them from home. You can also view any current promotions in this section of the app.
