Toys toys toys! My greatest housecleaning challenge involves the constant picking up and organizing of my children’s toys. They’re in the living room and our bedrooms…on the floor and in the car. We have a small toy box that we purchased a few years ago when my son was a baby, but since my daughter was born, we’ve struggled to find an organizational solution that works for us.
Earlier this year, Step2 introduced a brand new line inspired by one of the most iconic sports cars…Chevrolet’s Corvette! There are so many room decor and design options for girls and it’s wonderful to see a hip yet classy line targeting boys. Designed as a coordinating set, Step2’s Corvette line includes a Toddler to Twin Bed, a Dresser, a Room Organizer, and a Storage Chest.
The line was authentically designed and Step2 partnered with Corvette to create realistic-looking items, the signature piece being the very realistic looking Corvette toddler to twin bed. The red racing bed was modeled after the Corvette Z06 and features silver rims and other details. What’s neat about this bed is that families can upgrade to a model that comes equipped with working headlights!
We recently added the Corvette Storage Chest to our living room and it has been incredible for storing our children’s toys. While it is incredibly spacious, it doesn’t take up a lot of room because of it’s narrow dimensions. This is probably the largest toy chest I’ve seen on the market…so large that my children were playing inside of it before we began putting their toys inside. There is very little assembly required and children can assist with adding the stickers that are included.
While you can use the chest to store toys, books, clothes, etc., we’ve been using it for the larger toys that don’t typically fit in conventional toy boxes. The chest features a shelf top display that can easily be opened by children and when it’s closed, keeps all of their toys nicely contained.
Because the chest is made of a very sturdy polyethylene, it is easy to clean. Similarly, my children can toss their toys inside without having to worry about the chest getting damaged.
You can check out the entire Corvette line on Step2’s website!
