Organic Protein Powders and Shakes

Posted by Caryn Bailey Leave a Comment

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Orgain and Mamavation. All opinions are my own.

Mornings during the week always feel like a race, except there is no medal at the end and success is measured by whether or not we beat the school bell. Even though I know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, I’m not even batting average most days of the week. Until I was introduced to Orgain Organic Protein Powders which has been a lifesaver when it comes to breaking the fast.

Orgain Organic Protein Powders

Organic Protein Powders Help Me Get the Protein I Need

As a vegetarian, getting the daily recommended amount of protein into my diet is a challenge and something I have to be very intentional about. Over the years, I’ve tried more protein powders and shakes than I can keep track, but hadn’t found one I actually wanted to drink until Orgain. The company was founded by cancer survivor and trained medical physician, Dr. Andrew Abraham. He set out to develop a line of organic protein powders and organic nutritional shakes that would make a difference in his health.

Orgain Organic Protein Powders

Conventional protein powders and shakes are filled with corn syrup, genetically modified ingredients, artificial flavors, hormones, antibiotics and non-organic ingredients. Dr. Abraham formulated his organic protein powders and shakes to be lower in sugar, higher in protein, certified organic and free from artificial sweeteners, preservatives and colorings. Rather than using soy, which is the common protein used in protein powders and shakes, Orgain’s Vegan Protein Powders contain brown rice, hemp, chia and pea proteins. Today, many people battling illness are using Orgain’s plant based, organic protein powders and shakes to support their health.

On those mornings when I can’t fit in a sit-down breakfast, I blend Orgain’s Organic Protein Powders with a frozen banana and organic milk for a quick, healthy shake that fuels my workouts and provides a delicious start to my day. You could easily add your favorite fruits and/or vegetables to these powders for a heartier shake. At present, these plant-based protein powders are available in Creamy Chocolate Fudge and Vanilla Bean. One serving provides 21 grams of plant-based protein, 5 grams of fiber and 3 grams of net carbs.

If the protein powder and shakes you’re drinking aren’t delicious and free from artificial ingredients, it’s time to get picky with your protein. Smooth, perfectly sweet, and made with USDA Organic ingredients, you don’t have to choose between protein powders that are good for you or taste good. You really can have both!

Are you looking for an organic protein shake to start your day when you don’t have time for breakfast? Do you need a post-workout recovery shake? Or like me, are you adhering to a vegetarian or vegan diet and looking for ways to get more protein into your diet? Orgain Organic Protein powders and shakes taste good and are made with ingredients you can feel good about.

Orgain recently expanded their product line to include Kids Organic Nutritional Shakes, Organic Protein Bars, Organic Almond Milk, and an Organic Cold Brew Coffee + Protein Drink I can’t wait to try. Download a coupon for $5.00 off any Orgain Powder by visiting Orgain.com.
