Nourish Your Skin…Naturally

Posted by Caryn Bailey Leave a Comment

The Bailey household is sick!  I apologize for the lapse in posts.  I have several reviews coming up and another fab giveaway will be posted by the end of the week.
Now that I’m back to work, my hands are taking a beating with the harsh soaps and alcohol hand gels we are required to use.  We all know that handwashing is the most effective way to prevent the spread of infections.  But what happens when the antibacterial soaps, wipes, and gels you use leave your hands dry, cracked, sore, and inflamed?  With so many creams and lotions on the market how does one choose?
skin care products
I have to admit that when I received a bottle of Skin MD Natural to try for a month I was a little hesitant about whether or not it would actually help since I’ve tried so many different lotions and creams.  Part of my problem is the constant exposure with little time in between for restoration.   The first night I used the lotion I noticed some relief from the soreness.  By morning the redness had subsided and in 2 days there was considerable improvement in the dryness.  Unfortunately I work in a profession that requires constant exposure to abrasive soaps and alcohol gel so I will have to use Skin MD Natural regularly to maintain the integrity of the skin on my hands.
So…what’s so special about this lotion?
Skin MD Natural is a shielding lotion.  Rather than attempting to replace moisture that is lost through the addition of an external source of moisture, Skin MD Natural forms a protective barrier on the skin shielding out irritants and chemicals.  It helps the skin retain its own natural oils and moisture, thereby promoting healing.
So…does that make it greasy?
Au contraire!  Skin MD Natural goes on light and smooth without leaving a greasy residue!  In fact, my hands feel hydrated rather than oily or greasy like other lotions and creams I’ve used in the past.
What types of chemicals are used to attain this protective effect?  Does it have a smell?
Skin MD Natural is fragrance and colorant free.  It is non-comedogenic (it won’t clog your pores), hypoallergenic, and paraben free.  Skin MD Natural contains a blend of 5 natural plant extracts including aloe vera and chamomile.
Can I use Skin MD Natural on other parts of my body?
Absolutely!  Skin MD Natural is gentle and effective and can be used on your face, hands, and body.
I have eczema.  Can I still use Skin MD Natural?
Skin MD Natural helps to alleviate dry skin and itching resultant from conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
The product sounds fantastic.  It must be really expensive.
A little bit goes very far.  Skin MD Natural retails for $25.  This 4 ounce bottle will last 1-2 months with daily use.  I like to say that smooth, healthy, hydrated skin is priceless!
I highly recommend Skin MD Natural if you suffer from any of the conditions described above or you are tired of spending money on lotions and creams that never seem to work.  If you’d like to try Skin MD Natural, head on over to their website.  If you send a SASE they’ll send you 2 packets.  They unconditionally guarantee your satisfaction!  How many products can you say that about!
