Mother's Day Events at MainPlace Mall

I saw this meme earlier this week on Facebook which begged the question…What four words do moms want to hear this Mother’s Day? I can name a few including “I love you mama,” “I did the dishes,” “You can sleep in,” and “I’m taking you shopping.” If you are still looking for a way to celebrate that special mom in your life, MainPlace Mall will host their first “Party on the Patio” event of the year over Mother’s Day Weekend. This free event will feature all of the things moms enjoy including food and fashion.

Party on the Patio

This Mother’s Day, MainPlace Mall will celebrate moms with a fashion-themed Party on the Patio. Guests will enjoy mini makeovers, nail wraps, cocktails, a photo booth, games, and live entertainment by Christopher Wooley. There will also be a raffle for purses from Macy’s, New York & Company, Coach, Brighton, G by GUESS, White House Black Market, JCPenney, and more. Proceeds from the raffle will go to the Girl Scouts of Orange County.

ArtWalk at MainPlace Mall

MainPlace will host its first Art Walk event simultaneously from 2-5 pm on May 12, 2018. Guests can view original art pieces throughout the mall, each of which reflects the unique style and individuality of those local artists who designed them. On-site workshops will provide guests with the opportunity to make handmade Mother’s Day cards while learning the art of calligraphy. Lastly, there will be a live paining exhibit by Santa Ana College in the Center Court. Art Walk is a monthly event designed to support the artist community in Santa Ana.
