When I finally committed to eating more plant-based foods, I realized that finding vegetarian alternatives proved to be a challenge. And, they just so happen to be vegetarian-friendly, offering a black bean veggie burger that did not disappoint.

MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes originated in Plano Texas in 2007 and has expanded globally with a presence in nine countries. The fast-casual restaurant features 100% Certified Angus Beef burgers, all-natural Jennie-O turkey burgers, and black bean veggie burgers. Their non-GMO potato and multigrain buns are baked in-house daily. While the restaurant offers a varied burger menu, guests can also choose from five real cheeses, bacon, avocado, and 20 sauces and toppings including fresh vegetables.

When we walked into our local MOOYAH, I immediately took note of the fresh Idaho potatoes on display. The restaurant’s hand-cut fries involve a six-step process that takes 24 hours to complete. The result is perfect fries that are crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. MOOYAH also offers savory sweet potato fries.

In addition to their better burgers, MOOYAH serves up 100% real ice cream shakes in 7 varieties including vanilla, Hershey’s chocolate, Reese’s, and Oreo. Through the summer, MOOYAH is celebrating these shakes during their Summer of Shake promotion.
