Mimi’s Cafe Supports Local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals *Giveaway*

I have held and cried with mothers as they sat beside their sick child.  As a NICU nurse, Children’s Hospital of Orange County holds a special place in my heart for all of the infants and families I’ve had the honor of caring for during the most challenging time of their lives.

Tomorrow, Mimi’s Cafe will celebrate the “lift off” for it’s latest awareness and fundraising campaign, Mimi’s for Miracles and CHOC is one of the 45 hospitals the restaurant is partnering with. When you dine at Mimi’s Cafe throughout the month of July, you can make a donation to your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.  If you make a $1 donation, you’ll receive a Miracle Balloon paper icon to show your support in the restaurant and if you make a $5 donation, you’ll receive a Balloon lapel pin and up to $30 in savings via coupons. All proceeds will be donated to local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Kids can also show their support by coloring a picture and writing a get well message that will be displayed at local hospitals.

 

Additionally, if you dine and donate at Mimi’s Cafe tomorrow, you’ll receive a free Strawberry Shortcake muffin.

If you have kids, you’ll definitely want to take note of family nights at the restaurant.  Every Tuesday in July, kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal and a donation to the local, partnering hospital.

  4. I’d like to support it because I’ve worked with Children’s Miracle Network before. When I had a job in marketing, we raised funds for Children’s Miracle Network. They’re a wonderful charity.

  24. I am a mom who has fought cancer herself. Whenever a sick child is involved my heart aches. As adults, there is some understanding, as a child there is hardly any understanding why they are going through such a rough time. Always support children’s organizations.

  112. I have had to watch my little boy have a seizure and then go through many tests at our local children’s hospital so I understand the pain of watching your child suffer. I love to support children’s hospitals
