Over the weekend, my son attended a Seussian storytime in celebration of the late author’s birthday. It was unseasonably cold in LA and an indoor activity was just what he needed. As he sat amongst all of the boys and girls eager to hear Dr. Seuss’ rhyming stories, we noticed several children with race cars. They had just come from one of Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinics.

These free workshops offer children the opportunity to build a free wooden project at participating Lowe’s stores. Since space is limited, you are required to register online. Each participant also receives a free apron, goggles, a project themed patch, and a certification of merit upon completion of their project.
The next two workshops will be held on March 12th (Shoot Around Basketball) and March 26th (Fortune Teller) at 10:00 am. You can sign up for a workshop on the website.
