The LEGO Batman Movie is here! We donned our Batman masks and headed into Miniland U.S.A. at LEGOLAND California Resort to find the villains who have escaped! LEGOLAND is celebrating the release of The LEGO Batman Movie with engaging activities this winter!
The LEGO Batman Movie is a spin-off of The LEGO Movie and follows the story of LEGO Batman in his first on-screen adventure. As Batman works to fight crime in Gotham City, he learns that changes within the city’s police department will force him to face his greatest fear if he is going to stop The Joker from taking over.
To kick off LEGO Batman Movie Days, LEGOLAND invited fans to raise placards to create a human bat-signal. LEGO Batman made an appearance and 500 lucky guests received a ticket to LEGOLAND California Resort. If you were not able to visit during the first weekend, you still have another weekend filled with LEGO Batman-inspired fun! Here are 5 things to do during LEGO Batman Movie Days at LEGOLAND.
- Take a Bat Selfie: Through February 26th, you can meet LEGO Batman himself for photo opps. Be sure to check your map and entertainment guide when you enter the park for details on timing and location (which is adjacent to the Big Shop towards The Beginning).
- Build and Race Your Own Batmobile: Kids can build and race their unique Batmobile at the Imagination Zone. Each child receives a certificate and has a chance to receive a ribbon for placing in the race.
- Find the Villains of Gotham City: During LEGO Batman Movie Days, families can participate in a scavenger hunt through Miniland U.S.A. to find the 5 villain minifigures. Each minifigure holds a letter which provides a clue to unscramble the secret word. When you’ve completed the scavenger hunt, you can turn it in at The Beginning for a chance to win a LEGO Batman gift pack and two tickets to LEGOLAND California Resort. Be sure to download the free LEGOLAND App, which will give you your first clue, provide wait times, dining details, a map and more.
- Play the new LEGO Batman Movie Video Game: LEGOLAND has a Warner Bros Family GameSpace which features LEGO Batman Video Games. Kids can get play the games and re-enact their favorite LEGO Batman moments.
- Be part of LEGOLAND’s special LEGO Batman Builds: During LEGO Batman Movie Days, kids can test their model builder skills by helping to create a life-size LEGO Batman and LEGO Robin and a mystery mosaic inspired by The LEGO Batman Movie. The Life Size LEGO Character Build is located at The Beginning and the Mystery Mosaic LEGO Build is located outside of the LEGO Show Place Theater. Build times are from 10 am to 3 pm.
