Learn How Coca-Cola Can Help Your Teen Go to College #ForTheDream

Posted by Caryn Bailey Leave a Comment

{This is part of a sponsored campaign with DiMe Media and Coca-Cola. However, all opinions expressed are my own.}

As the first person in my family to attend college and obtain a degree, I understand how important such an accomplishment was both for myself and those who went before me. I grew up with the undoubted certainty that I would attend college and I’m raising both of my kids with the same mindset.

While we are still years away from my kids’ college preparation, I still find myself thinking about the logistics, specifically how I will pay for both of their higher education. Coca-Cola has partnered once again with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund to help families prepare, plan and pay for college. Hispanic moms face many challenges as they guide their teens on the path to higher education. Thankfully, Coca-Cola offers resources to mitigate the process and begin a conversation among this specific community of moms, affording them an opportunity to share experiences, resources and advice.

To aid more Hispanic students and their families achieve a college education and become future leaders, Coca-Cola recently announced a $150,000 donation to the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, which will be awarded to qualifying students who apply from January 1st, 2016 through March 30th, 2016. You can find out more information about the program (including the scholarship application) by visiting Coke.com/ForTheDream.
