Jon & Kate Plus Ei8ht Giveaway

Posted by Caryn Bailey 255 Comments

This giveaway is now closed.  Thanks for stopping by.  The winners are Melissa V, Steph, Reeva, Erica C, and Susan (A Happy Heart at Home).  Congratulations!

I absolutely love TLC, the popular educational network chock full of addicting, reality-based programs! We had our 5 minutes of fame on Bringing Home Baby! And now the hugely popular series, Jon & Kate Plus Ei8ht is coming to DVD! Here is a little more about the series if you haven’t seen it (and if you haven’t…why not?). : ) They definitely defy the all-American 2 parent, 2.5 children and a dog stereotype!

Following the super-sized family as they tackle seemingly ordinary activities such as visiting the zoo, vacationing in Utah, going to Disney World or celebrating the holidays, the #1 show on TLC showcases how the Gosselins manage their extraordinary lives raising two sets of energetic multiples. Featuring all-new extended episodes as well as a Gosselin family music video, Jon & Kate Plus Ei8ht Season 3 continues to offer insight into Jon and Kate’s unique approach to child-rearing. Twins followed by sextuplets were not exactly what the Gosselins expected, but Jon and Kate’s ambitious parenting and dedication to provide a normal childhood for their happy brood has helped the show attract a large and dedicated fan base.

Jon & Kate Plus Ei8ht Season 3 debuts on February 3 from Genius Products and TLC. This four-disc set features 33 episodes will be available for $34.95.

Win It! 5 lucky readers will each win their very own copy of Jon & Kate Plus Ei8ht Season 3. Just head on over to the site and tell me if you watch the series and what you like about it (if you don’t watch the series, tell me why you want to see it). I like that it is real people in a real situation. We get to see what their life is really like – kids who fight, parents who yell, kids who help and kids that don’t.

A true friend is not a friend that you can see and know that they are there without a doubt. A true friend is a friend you truly have faith in without a doubt. True friendship is when you don’t see that friend but you know that they are there and you learn to trust and believe in them…that one day you will see them without a doubt! I wa t everyone to feel this way…I WILL make everyone feel this way. Runescape gave me that chance…to know what true friendship really is. Together, we flew in the sky , over the ocean , in a dream that lasted forever! With unbroken bonds of the new existence. I DECLARE THESE BONDS UNBROKEN. I will fly with them forever in a dream that turns to the new reality.I am a blinding light made new, emptied of all preexisting darkness, and I will guide those in the darkness.Believe me..when I say I will do something, I will most likely do it eventually. I live to be the very best, not fine, not decent, good, amazing or outstanding. I live to be the very best.I burned fires of infinitism down the longest path that existed for eternity shedding tears…with my friends in the most magical and legendary lake of all time. These friends are the light that shines in the distant…you are the one in the darkness…looking for that light! That light. Is the only thing there to trust, you leave it to chance. One day you find it but it disappears. You can only have faith. That the light is still there. I found that light and I constantly lose it but I learn to trust it even more. I WILL win THIS. I DECLARE IT!!!!!!!!!!! This is how bad I want to win!

I have watched the show since it began and I love it! I think what I like best about it is that we get to see Jon and Kate at their finest; bad, worse and worst, not to mention at their goreat and greatest! I think it’s healthy for other people to see their great attitudes toward everything, even if they do get a little perturbed sometimes! That’s life!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

I have only seen the show a few times when I’ve been visiting my parents and my mom was watching it. The clip of Kate pregnant and shifting her gigantic belly at the beginning makes my stomach ache!

I don’t have cable or satellite TV so I can’t watch it!

I love this show! It is my favorite! My husband thinks it is dorky and pokes fun at it, so I am sort of a closet Jon and Kate lover, but I love it nonetheless. I love it because I can relate to some of the chaos that takes place in large families as I grew up in a family with seven kids.

I love their show for many many reasons. One being that my husband is named John and lots of people call me Kate (instead of Katie). I love seeing them “fight” and act the same as my husband and I. It’s grounding for me to see that families are the same no matter the size (we have 3). Also their twins are the same age as my oldest (daughter) and their 6 are the same age as my middle son. So it is nice to see they have the same challenges as we do (only on a much larger scale) and i like to see how they over come them. I could go on but…..won’t. We moved recently and no longer have tv channels. I am really missing this show. Thanks for the giveaway.

I’m a huge fan of this show. My DvR cable is set to record every week. My reason for loving this show is, the adorable kids. There unpredictable, that’s what so amazing there is no script and they say the cutest things.

A couple of my favorite moments are Collin misbehaving with the fridge magnet, Leah combing her hair in front the mirror, Cara in the ski resort skiing, mady hula lessons, aden sniff everything, hannah helping kate, joel weinner moment, alexis and her excitement for aligators.

I have to say their really really great parents, not only do they provide the basics (food & shelter) but they really give a lots of love to these kids, you can see it in there expression. really!

Not only am I addicted to watching Jon & Kate Plus Ei8ht but my 10 year old son loves to cuddle with me and watch it too!

The saddest episode I saw was when Kate was talking about Jon and all the kids being Asian and that she wished she was to. Their children are all so beautiful. In fact I believe Kate said they were china doll babies, and I have to agree with her. Beautiful skin.

I know a lot of people do not like Miss Gotta Be Perfect Kate, well I just don’t see it that way. With a family this size she has to be on top of it all, she has to have it organized and if something falls out of place of course she gets upset.

I am glad she stopped saying “hello, Hello, HELLO” to Jon, it did not sound good and I think it took her seeing herself on film to realize it.

I like when they show Jon & Kate showing a little affection because it is healthy and it should not embarass them (I saw the episode where they read readers emails and it seemed Kate was embarassed easily with that).

Anyway, yes, we love this show, we look forward to the new season, watching them put their new home together…..as one big happy family.

Thank you for the chance Rockin’ Mama, have a great weekend 🙂

I truly love this show. Actually when I first started watching it a couple of years ago, I thought, who would want to watch a show with a bunch of whining toddlers….but I watched it a few more times, and then just fell in love with those adorable kids and Kate and Jon’s love with them.
I watched the show religiously until we had to have our Directv turned off in December (hard-times)…and I really MISS watching them.

Thank you for a great opportunity to win…Please enter me !

I DO watch this series, it’s oddly addictive. I really dislike Kate, and Jon is totally PW’d! Step it up, Dude!

Kate was on my local T.V. morning show this week, all high blonde hair and eyeliner, speaking as a an “expert” Pu-leeze!

On the positive side, she is a much better Mom than that octoplets lady, at least she isn’t a grifter and scamming the system.

Sorry to be so negative, but these are my feelings. Thanks so much for offering this contest. If I’m lucky enough to win it I’m pretty sure I can sell it!

I’ve never seen it, but I’ve seen promotional ads for it, and my friends tell me that it’s a great show. I’m hoping I’ll pick up some organizational skills from it. If a family can manage at that size, I’m sure they can teach me about organization and managing my much smaller family. Thank you for offering this giveaway! eyeslikesugar [at] gmail [dot] com
