Last week I turned down an opportunity to ride in the Wienermobile (gasp!). We had some crazy weather here in Southern California with torrential rain, thunderstorms and tornado watches. As much as it broke my heart to turn down a ride in the famous Wienermobile, I kept the kidlets in. So why all the hype? Oscar Mayer kicked off their Good Mood Missions campaign in Los Angeles last week.

The wickedly (giggle) famous Kristin Chenoweth was the spokesperson who helped kick off the campaign last week. Good Mood Missions is a charity initiative to turn America’s good moods into 2 million pounds of food for Feeding America. Feeding America is the country’s leading hunger-relief organization which provides food to 25 million Americans every year. Oscar Mayer jumpstarted the campaign by donating 1 million pounds of food and is now asking America to help match that 1 million pounds for a total goal of 2 million pounds. All you have to do is answer the question “it doesn’t get better than ______” on their website. Every person who shares their “good mood moment” results in more food donations towards their goal.So what is your good mood moment? For us…it doesn’t get better than the four of us hanging out on a weekend, eating ice cream, and snuggling on the couch. For more info or to keep up with the company, visit them on Facebook and Twitter.

Looks like a fun time, but with weather conditions like that, it was probably better to be safe than sorry. 🙂
