This Friday, Manny, Sid, Diego, and Scrat will delight and entertain in the fourth Ice Age film to be released by Fox! My kids saw the preview last week so I know what we will be doing this weekend. : )

Ice Age: Continental Drift features an incredible cast and includes the voice talents of Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Jennifer Lopez, and Queen Latifah. In the latest film, Scrat’s pursuit of the famed acorn results in a “continental cataclysm.” What ensues is a series of adventures for the trio which includes Sid reuniting with his grandmother, and an encounter with a pirate gang determined to keep them from going home.

The film opens this Friday, July 13th in theaters nationwide.

In anticipation of the film’s release, you can download the official Ice Age app for free (for iPhone, iTouch, iPad, and Android devices).

Within the app, kids are immersed in the Ice Age Universe where they can interact with the film’s characters as they lead quests and missions, play mini-games with Scrat, and build their own unique village. The app also encourages play with other via Gameloft LVE! and Facebook
