I walked off the plane that mid summer day and was greeted by a calm, cool breeze with a light mist. I haven’t spent much time in the Pacific Northwest, but one of the cities I’ve always wanted to spend a bit more time in is Seattle. Quaint, artisan coffee shops, abundant and expansive farmer’s markets with locally grown foods and goods, a vibrant artsy culture, and sweeping, scenic views make Seattle an attractive destination, despite the sometimes unpleasant weather. BlogHer Food was held in Seattle this year, and on the last day of the conference, we took a half-day excursion to Pike Place Market. We had an opportunity to sample some amazing food while taking in a bit of the lively vibe surrounding the market. Here are my favorite iPhone photos from the afternoon:

iLove Seattle. I miss it so and hope to head there this year. Not only is it a beautiful place, but my kids’ godmom lives there. Of course it does not hurt that the first Starbucks is there
