Star Wars…Batman…Ninjago…
My son’s Christmas wish list is comprised of nothing more than set upon set of LEGOS. Once he reached the age where he could successfully put a set together, he became incredibly fascinated with building and creating. Since we’re in the midst of the holiday season, we decided to head to the land of the LEGOS to see the park all dressed up.
This year, LEGOLAND California is offering both day and nighttime holiday fun for families. During the day, kids can build a snowman with LEGO accessories out of real snow, take a photo with LEGO Santa and his holiday helpers, gnosh on seasonal treats at the Fun Town Holiday Food Truck, and enjoy themed entertainment including The Big Test Holidays, Let it Snow, Brickettes, and Jingle Jammers.
After dark, participate in the nightly lighting of the World’s Largest LEGO Christmas Tree, watch the Holiday Lights Show, and sing along with live music, carolers, and strolling entertainment. From December 26th through 31st, the park will conclude the evening with nightly fireworks.
We had a wonderful time at the park and found that there were enough holiday activities to keep us busy most of the day. The park is gorgeous, particularly at night so be sure to stay for LEGOLAND’s extended park hours (5 pm to 7 pm). You can enjoy all of the holiday activities through December 31st, 2012.
While we were at the park, I managed to snap a few photos:
