We’re in the midst of the holiday season which means the shopping frenzy has begun! I sat down the other day to make a list of the items I’m going to need in the coming weeks and it included everything from groceries and cosmetics to toys and apparel. Some of my shopping will inevitably involve bringing my kids along with me, so anything I can do to organize and prepare before heading into the store is essential for maximizing my time and my savings.
Recently, I noticed a change in my CVS/pharmacy ad. As I browsed online, I kept seeing a lot of my favorite items…items that I purchase on a regular basis. Personalization is the innovation behind myWeekly Ad, which launched in September. According to CVS/pharmacy, “everyone deserves their own circular” and I couldn’t agree more. I enjoy shopping, but with 2 small children, I don’t have the time I was once afforded as a young, single woman. It doesn’t seem like much time, but why flip through 10-15 pages of a circular in search of your favorite items if you don’t have to?
Here are a few simple instructions detailing how to use CVS myWeekly Ad:
1. Sign up online (it’s free!). Be sure to have your ExtraCare card number and account information to log in easily.
2. If you don’t have an ExtraCare card, you can register for one online or in-stores.
3. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll have access to a variety of features including “Your Deals” which highlights the products on sale each week that you frequently purchase.
4. While online, you can build your own digital shopping list, print or send ExtraCare Savings to your ExtraCare card before shopping, and peruse recommended deals based on your previous purchase history.
While much of my life can be managed online, I still prefer to shop in-stores. myWeekly Ad allows me to efficiently organize my shopping trip so that I maximize both my time and my savings.
