Every Christmas is unique, memorable, and incredibly special in our family. But when our children were babies, it was important that their First Christmas go down in memory books. Some of you know that I was on bed rest with both of my children, and in fact we were not certain my son would make it through the pregnancy. We rejoiced with Thanksgiving that first Christmas and celebrated his blessing in our lives. Fast forward 2 1/2 years to my second pregnancy. My daughter wasn’t due until January, but I knew better, and 5 days before Christmas we received a gift unlike any other.
Do you remember your Baby’s First Christmas? Perhaps it was spent surrounded by loved ones with all of the food, fun and festivities characteristic of the season. Or maybe you spent a quiet holiday at home, relishing in the joy of new life. Each family’s memories are unique and special and this season, Babies “R” Us wants to help celebrate this special time through a series of in-store events.
Babies “R” Us invites families to join them in-store for gift ideas, holiday shopping tips, giveaways and more. This is a great way for parents to connect with each other in their community while celebrating the joy of this season.
In addition to their in-store events, Babies “R” Us will host several giveaways, including a Baby’s First Christmas-themedTwitter Party tomorrow night! I’d love to have you join us as we share holiday gift ideas, tips, and recipes. Here are the details for tomorrow’s online party:

Holding my niece for the first time was my favorite moment with her.
playing with paper, ribbons and boxes, but not the gifts themselves, lol
I loved seeing all the adults fuss over the baby while she slept the day away.
Thanks for the chance.
I remember my oldest daughter liked to wear a Christmas bow on top of her head and if we took it off she would cry! It was the funniest thing!
My favorite memory is the first Christmas of my youngest son purely because all of my children were there and together, it was such a special time. My youngest was obsessed with the tinsel!
My favorite memory is the first time my son when to visit santa.
My baby was only 25 days old, so his first Christmas was his first time meeting all the family!
I don’t have children as I am currently expecting. Hopefully I will have lots of experiences.
we had a huge family reunion and took tons of fun pictures together.
My favorite memory of one of my kids’ first Christmas’s was the year my youngest was born. Her older brother and sister wanted her to be included in everything. They wanted to share all their toys, take tons of pictures with her, dress her up and play with her. It was such a special time.
This will be my daughter’s first Christmas!

This will be my daughter’s first Christmas.
I am pregnant with my first so I only have memories of my nieces and nephew. I thought the bewildered expression on my youngest niece’s face during her first Christmas gift unwrapping was so funny! She really didn’t know what to think of it all!
this will be my daughter’s 1st Christmas!! I love watching my son’s face seeing the presents under the Christmas tree!
My daughter absolutely loved the lights on the house, I loved seeing her smile!
She was crawling around on the floor trying to eat all the wrapping while we unwrapped her presents
…it was my 2nd daughter’s first Christmas… It was a VERY bad time… there was a total of 2 things under the tree (which almost didnt make it there either… but that’s another story…) I got up that morning to find my oldest (2 years old…) hugging the stuffed Barney & Baby Bop like they were the greatest things on the planet… she was even happy to give her sister the Baby Bop doll
My first child was born on Christmas, so that would totally be my best memory!
She was fascinated by the ornaments and kept trying to get to them.
having grandma and grandpa there to spend the night and be there in the am for opening gifts

having everyne in the family seeing the baby for the firs time
My oldest started walking when she saw the Christmas tree.
My first child…he was 6 months old on Christmas. I think I bought every possible toy that I could find. There were dozens of gifts under the tree. It looked amazing, but it was so silly — he didn’t even know what was going on, and he couldn’t even open them. But I really loved it. 🙂
The one year that the kids each got bikes for Christmas. There faces and the screaming. My oldest daughter even started crying. It was heartwarming.
Watching my son stare and laugh at all the blinking Christmas lights on the tree.
Mine was born a few days before Christmas so the first Christmas would be just the magic of holding a wonderful creation !
Our son was born on the 21st and we got home on Christmas Eve….so it was a quiet first Christmas at home with some family visiting
We don’t have a baby yet but are really looking forward to that first Christmas, seeing them watch the Christmas lights and opening presents with them.
when my oldest (now 22) toddled out into the living room, in pjs, hair in pigtails and saw that Santa had brought her very own little fish tanks..she giggled and yelled FISHIES! it was so adorable and to this day one of my favorite memories.
Which baby? 🙂 I have 3 adult sons & the thing I remember the most is the looks on their faces when they walked in & seen all the gifts Santa brought them:)
Thanks!

For my daughter’s first christmas we had a lot of family come over. The gifts were piled high. After barely being able to afford any gifts our first few christmases it was nice to see.
My daughter was only 4 months at the time, but we I loved waking up, all in our xmas pj’s and placing her in my lap and opening the presents under the tree, she loved throwing all the stuff and loved all the new sounds her toys made! 🙂
My daughter was (still is!) mesmerized by all the pretty Christmas lights.
My baby’s first Christmas will in December 2014 🙂 I’m pregnant with her this Christmas and I’ve already ordered her a monogrammed stocking for next year!
My favorite memory of my son’s first Christmas, was when we was only 10 days old, and I was nursing him by the Christmas tree while everyone quietly opened their gifts. It was such a heartwarming moment. I was so glad he decided to join us for Christmas instead of staying in my belly longer.
My favorite recent memory was at my grandmothers watching my niece face light up looking at all the gifts and trying to tear the wrapping paper.
his sock monkey hat his aunt made him 🙂 he was so cute not even 3 months old yet
This year is my sons first Christmas. We just decorated our home and brought him out and he just “oohed & ahhed” at them. Magical.
Mine is watching my nephew see the Christmas tree.
One of my best memories is for my son’s first Christmas he received a stuffed turtle from my mother which he wouldn’t put down. He is now 5 and still has the turtle though it’s seen better days.
My kids loved (and still do) to drive around and see all the lights. My daughter just yells It’s christmas!!
My son loved all the ornaments and twinkling lights
My daughter had no interest in her gifts except for the boxes and bows
