Every Christmas is unique, memorable, and incredibly special in our family.  But when our children were babies, it was important that their First Christmas go down in memory books.  Some of you know that I was on bed rest with both of my children, and in fact we were not certain my son would make it through the pregnancy. We rejoiced with Thanksgiving that first Christmas and celebrated his blessing in our lives. Fast forward 2 1/2 years to my second pregnancy.  My daughter wasn’t due until January, but I knew better, and 5 days before Christmas we received a gift unlike any other.

Baby

Do you remember your Baby’s First Christmas?  Perhaps it was spent surrounded by loved ones with all of the food, fun and festivities characteristic of the season.  Or maybe you spent a quiet holiday at home, relishing in the joy of new life.  Each family’s memories are unique and special and this season, Babies “R” Us wants to help celebrate this special time through a series of in-store events.

My favorite memory of one of my kids’ first Christmas’s was the year my youngest was born. Her older brother and sister wanted her to be included in everything. They wanted to share all their toys, take tons of pictures with her, dress her up and play with her. It was such a special time.
