Crime, action, and humor converge in Warner Bros.’ Pictures latest cinematic release that will lend itself well to a girls’ night out. Hot Pursuit, debuting in theaters this Friday, May 8th, 2015, stars Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara in an action-comedy film that just might be the perfect Mother’s Day weekend activity.
Under the direction of Anne Fletcher, Witherspoon stars as “by-the-book” cop Cooper, who’s job is to protect Daniella (Vergara), the outgoing widow of a drug boss. As they race through Texas, crooked cops and murderous gunmen are in hot pursuit of the female duo. The fact that this film was made for women, by women, guarantees it will entertain and inspire the type of female-centric roles portrayed in the film.
