Holiday Gift Guide 2009: Hallmark Recordable Cards

Posted by Caryn Bailey 1 Comment

Last week we finally mailed out our Christmas cards!  I have to admit that I’m not usually so organized, often waiting until the very last minute (as in the week of Christmas) to send them out.  For a majority of our friends and family, we send out a somewhat generic Christmas card with a picture of our family and a standard greeting.  However, when it comes to parents, grandparents, and in-laws, we like to choose a unique card that’s personal.

globalnav_hallmark_logoHallmark offers a twist on personalized cards with their holiday Recordable Cards. I actually reviewed their Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day Recordable Cards and I’m still impressed with them.  Some cards include music and all include the option of recording a personal message.  My husband and son recorded a message for me for Mother’s Day and I still enjoy hearing it played.  I’ll have that card to remember my son’s sweet toddler voice when he’s all grown up.

I’ve always considered Hallmark the “Gold” standard in greeting cards.  Their holiday product line-up includes Recordable Storybooks, DVD Greetings, and Digital Scrapbooks.  Hallmark has definitely gone above and beyond greetings to include an array of gifts and keepsakes for sentimentalists like me!

Profuse thanks to the Family Review Network for this review opportunity!
