Breakfast 101: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. For children it is vital. Their rapidly growing growing bodies and developing brains rely on the regular intake of food. Physical, intellectual and behavioral problems are the result of missed meals, particularly breakfast.
In a society that lives by the tick-tock of the clock, cereal is an easy grab for rushed mornings. Have you seen the amount of sugar in most cereals?
Thanks to Mom Central (who ROCKS by the way) we were able to try Kellogg’s Wild Animal Crunch, a new vanilla-chocolate whole grain cereal. At only 100 calories, 1 g of fat, 14 g of whole grains, 3 g of fiber, and 8 g of sugar we were guiltlessly eating this by the handfuls!
Add milk and your kids will have a wholesome meal that is low in sugar and packed with whole grains and fiber. Your children will go wild over the real-life animal photographs, fun facts and games on every box thanks to Kelloggs partnership with Animal Planet.
Kelloggs Wild Animal Crunch is available in stores now. If you’d like additional nutrition information, check out their site.
