Give Your Child’s Milk a Splash With MilkSplash

My kids eat a wide variety of foods including broccoli, salmon, and even cooked sushi, so it would stand to reason that getting them to drink dairy-free milk alternatives would be painless. Unfortunately, my son has never really adapted his taste buds to plain almond milk and we’ve tried everything from rice to hemp to even recently cashew.  Milk and the nutrients it contains is that much more important for my kids since they are not able to eat or drink any foods containing dairy so it isn’t uncommon for them to drink chocolate or vanilla-flavored versions of milk.  If you look at the sugar content of flavored milks, you’ll find it to be excessive and comparable to juice or even soda which is why I was intrigued by Walmart’s in-store launch of MilkSplash.

MilkSplash

MilkSplash is designed to give your milk just the “splash” it needs to taste great. This zero-calorie milk flavoring is available in a variety of kid-friendly flavors including Cocoa Loco, Sir Strawberry Swirl, Orange Cream Dream, Cookies ‘N Cream and Jammin’ Banana. For kids who refuse to drink milk, this is a great solution since the flavoring is low in sugar and free from gluten and allergens.

MilkSplash

We had a chance to try out all 5 of MilkSplash’s splash-tastic milk flavorings, most of which my kids really enjoyed.  Their favorites were the Cookies ‘N Cream, the Cocoa Loco, and the Strawberry Swirl, each of which tastes like their respective name. One of the things I’ve been doing after initially allowing them the opportunity to flavor their own milk is to control how much my children use in their milk because its very easy for children to want to add more than just a squeeze. Since the product contains 24 servings and doesn’t require refrigeration, I can carry this with me when we’re out and about.

I absolutely love the concept of helping kids get the vitamins and nutrients they need from milk, particularly when kids refuse to drink it.  One of the things I’m very excited about is MilkSplash’s future launch of a more natural line free from artificial ingredients (currently in development).

MilkSplash is now available for $3.48 on Walmart.com and in Walmart stores nationwide.
